We headed up into the mountains for the past long weekend and (like I said in my travel makeup bag post) I really value simplicity on these weekends. I choose outfits that were easy to walk around in with easy layers for the changing temperatures.
Day one was our travel day to the mountains. For being in a car for a few hours, I went with a comfy and cozy sweater (the first sweater of Fall) and some stretchy skinnies.
Day two was exploring and trying so much delicious food. The morning was so cold, but it warmed up beautifully by the afternoon so the layers were super helpful. I bought this beautiful green dress while exploring and just had to wear it for dinner that night! Don’t get me wrong, that dress really needs a belt but it was still cute.
Day three was a lazy drive home. Again going for comfy and cute with the sweatshirt and leopard scarf.
What do you guys think? Do you like the lookbooks and should I do more? I had a ton of fun putting this one together!
